Thomas D’Arcy’s Garden House, based in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, was established in 2023 to offer more unusual plants for a variety of spaces—from mature gardens and city courtyards to balconies and pots.
Alongside our plants, we stock antique, reclaimed, and decorative salvage pieces, as well as quirky gardenalia, all chosen to bring charm and character to gardens big and small.
Kris Hellard aka Thomas is a highly trained, award-winning gardener with an extraordinary knowledge of plants. He’s worked on a wide range of spaces, from large country estates and formal gardens to mature garden renovations and small city gardens.
The ever-changing selection includes perennials, shrubs, small trees, and unique garden finds, all sourced with care to bring interest and beauty to your outdoor space.
Everything is handpicked for quality and style, helping you add those finishing touches that make your garden feel truly personal, whatever its size or setting.
Kevin Kirwan aka D'Arcy is a highly experienced gardener who specialises in reviving neglected, mature gardens. He is also a qualified horticultural therapist, using plants to support people facing mental health challenges and social isolation.
